My favourite figure skater

I found this you-tube video of my favourite figure skater.

Michelle Kwan.

Watched her skate since my secondary school days.

I even got my cousin to get her autobiography from New York.

Are they just trying to be funny or what...?

My friend Matthew Clark went on a vacation to Shenzhen and brought back some lovely photos.

Yes, I can see that we, womenfolk aren't considered part of mankind. Thank you very much.

And thanks for the trouble of inventing a new term for us.

Do I really have to treat it like it's the most sacred act on earth?

Thanks, Matthew, for brightening my day.

Tag away...

I finally got a new tagboard.

I got annoyed with the dumb panel popping up everytime I enter my own blog, asking me for my username and password. I spent the last few days entering numerous versions of passwords and usernames but strangely enough, none of them seemed to match. So I finally got rid of it.

I advocate free speech...However,

1. No vulgarities
2. No provocating religious remarks
3. No discriminatory comments about women (about men, ok.)
4. No defamatory comments (I will sue you.)
5. No negative comments about me or my blog (I will find the best lawyer to sue you once again.)
6. No threats
7. No spam
8. No viruses (no matter how much you hate me, its rude to spread viruses around)
9. No anonomity (I prefer to know who I'm typing to.)
10. No typing in a language I don't understand (eg. wingdings.)

Other than these, you can type anything. Absolutely anything.

Free speech rules.

On dumb people, term papers and nachos

I think I stopped blogging for a long long time. Esther can't resist anymore of my silence and had to bug me to blog something. Blog, she says, no one is blogging anymore.

So here I am.

I can't stand dumb people.

I was at a chinese restuarant for dinner earlier on and there was this waitress who took our order. All the dishes except one came. They missed out the chicken, even though it was clearly written in the receipt that we ordered a chicken. We did the most logical thing - we signalled the waitress and told her a dish was missing. She looked at the receipt and went "Ah... ya... chicken missing." We nodded in agreement, expecting her to go do something about it. Instead, she just stood there and kept checking and re-checking the receipt and kept staring at the dishes on the table and kept mumbling, "the chicken..."

Like hello girl... yes, I know the blardy chicken is missing... now go do something about it. Just because you are chanting chickens doesn't mean the chicken will come running out of the kitchen, you know...

It's people like these who leave me stunned to silence.

Anyway, After so many days of term papers, term papers and guess what? More term papers, I finally have a chance to take a little breather. I have one more term paper due soon - my IPE paper. I haven't started partly because I had to do others first, and partly because I know nuts about the module.

Oh yeah, I finally got my rosary blessed. Thanks to Juliet. Heehee. Eh. Wait. That sounds wrong. Let me phrase it this way - Juliet got the priest to bless it for me. Ah there. That's the trouble with unprecise english.

Thanks to Sharon too, for accompanying me back to SR.

And finally,

no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
no more nachos, cheesesticks or potato wedges
