I'm so smart

You know the saying “True knowledge is knowing how much you don’t know”?

After so much studying. No matter how much I study or how I study or what method I use to study, I still don’t understand many concepts. Okay, I admit. I’m stupid. Now I have true knowledge. Does that make me any smarter? Oh... I'm so smart.

Rite of Acceptance

I went to church so early today for mass. I think I only had 4 hours of sleep from last night's partying at my cousin Kiat's wedding. I took quite a bit of pictures but I don't think I have the time to post them up just yet.

Anyway, I had my ROA today.

I'm trying hard to be a better Christian everyday.

Trying... not there yet... but trying.

I'm still the bitch that I am and I still need my daily dose of gossip. =p

But I am making the effort to know God.

Gee... I realise I turn up in church almost every Sunday morning recently. That's not bad, considering I've never sacrificed my sleep for anything before. *pat on back*

Lots of thanks to Jul... For putting up with all my nonsense and the nonsense-to-come.=) Oh.. by the way, I love the keychain!! Thanks!!!

Birthdayssss....

Happy birthday, daddy!

And happy birthday, Esther!

I went to Esther's birthday party yesterday. Totally neglected my daddy. Thank goodness he's so understanding. He knows Esther will turn 21 only once in her lifetime, so he didn't mind me going to celebrate it with her instead.

So I headed down to Esther's place with Karine and Jeraldine. Late, because I waited for my dad to come home to take his car, only to find the tire punctured...

But we still arrived...

...and took lots of pictures!

WAHHH... HUNK!!!

Kelvin: I want the hunk for myself!

Esther: Fine... I shall go open presents.

Esther: See! I got so many presents! Who needs hunks anyway?

Busyyyyy....

It's that time of the year again.

Exams...

Should I burn my books, mix the ashes in water, pretend its orange juice and gulp it down? Or should I stuff my readings under my thick pillow and sleep on it, praying that the essence of knowledge can sip into my big brain? Tell me, people... I need advice. Which works?

On top of revision (or rather, the lack of it), I'm still in stage one of my IPE essay i.e the research stage. I'm stuck. I don't know what to write. I think if I hear the words "IMF" or "debt crisis" one more time, I'm might just scream.

"IMF"

*screams*

So now that exams are coming, classes are ending. I have to admit - it has been a fun semester.

Employee Management in Singapore under Miss Usa has been great...

...and my project group has been even better!

Thanks, guys, for all the crappy sessions, weird Thai commercials, Ms Swan jokes and most importantly, No.6. (Yes, I know... we love No.6)

My French 2 class has been really great too, under Monsieur Martin-Lau. He's the best french teacher I've had by far, to be honest.

French class under Monsieur Martin.

Despite my busy schedule (yes, I'm a busy person), I still had to fork out time to head down to Orchard Road to get dear Esther's birthday present. I've known her since I-don't-know-when. Let's just put it this way... I've watched her change her preference from teddy bears to toy boys.

I got my gown too - two gowns in fact, to wear during my cousin Kiat's wedding, which is in two weeks time.

Orchard Road is really vibrant though.

I realise we have silver people.

I want to find such a job too.

And Christmas is coming!
