Goodbye, glasses!

After years of consideration, and after so many guinea pigs before me, I have finally made up my mind.

I'm going for lasik surgery tomorrow.

Hopefully after the surgery, my myopia and astigmatism will be gone forever. I'm going to miss my glasses though. I've been wearing them since I was seven. Erm. I don't mean the SAME pair of glasses. I mean I'm going to miss wearing glasses. In general.

Did the tree fall?

If a tree falls in the forest, but no one was around to see it fall, did the tree fall?

I just want to crawl to my bed, huddle under my blanket and hibernate with my bolster.
