World Cup Day 22
3:00 Italy 2 Germany 0 (Extra-time)
Who would have thought that it will be the Italians who will enter the finals of the World Cup this year? Two goals in the last two minutes of extra time crushed the dreams of the Germans.
Tonight will be the match which decides whom the Italians will face next. My bet will be the French, and I hope it will be the French. They have not disappointed me in the past few matches - against Spain, and later against Brazil. Les Bleus (the blues), are what they are more fondly known as and they have often been criticized for being the 'old men' team, but they have proven to the world that their age barrier isn't a barrier at all. Superb football, they play.
Football aside, I'm mentally preparing myself for Monday. I'm starting my internship at Mediacorp then.
Oh look, I finally uploaded the pictures taken during the Fête de la Musique last month.
That's Esther and I at the AF exibition. Argh, our faces look too big in here and I realise both our spectacles look rather similar.
