Trinity Sunday
Its Sunday today, so the natural routine is going to church in the morning. No class today so ended up going for Trinity Sunday mass today.
Someone told me (I think its Uncle Jacob) that I gotta book a priest for house blessing, so I went and talked to Father Joe about it. I think I'm like so kiasu. The new place is like not ready yet and I'm like trying to book a slot with Fr. Haha. Anyway, I think he was quite skeptical about it when he realised my parents are not Catholics. Kept asking me to get permission first. I think he was worried, probably envisioning this scenario where he dresses up nicely, armed with holy water and bible or something and walking into this house, with people glaring at him and ultimately kicking him outta the house or something. Erm... haha. Okay, that was what I was envisioning, not him. Anyway, my parents are non-Catholics, not anti-Catholics, so house blessings are essentially a-ok. After all my parents did attend not only my baptism but also sat through Sunday mass throughout the Lenten Season. Plus, my dad was the one who kept bugging me to remember to ask Fr. about house blessings. Great parents, huh?
Anyway, we spent like the whole afternoon downtown, with my dad settling the electrical appliances and my mum and I buying the winter clothes for the trip.
Oh, I realise my stamina is bad. Like really, really bad. After shopping, I had to head home and straight to my bed. For my dad, he put on his swimming trunks and headed for the pool and gym. Can u believe the amount of energy he has? Crazy. Like totally.
Eh... I think I have to go buy a sleeping bag tomorrow. Sheesh. Mummy threw mine away ages ago. Argh.
