Star Awards 2006
It's weird. I watch this show almost every year, but everytime, my focus hasn't been on the awardees. Maybe its because I seldom watch Channel 8 dramas and I don't derive much pleasure from them, therefore I don't exactly have a clue who deserves to win what. However, every year I still watch it for the endearing wit of the award presenters.
This year, Singapore managed to invite my favourites - Francis Ng, Jessica Hsuan and Nick Cheung. Gosh, pretty amazing and very witty despite their less endearing mandarin. They walked down the red carpet during the walk-in ceremony and my heart just dropped.
Nick came and showed off his bad mandarin again but still funny.
Surprisingly, Jessica's mandarin was good, and of course her english has always been good. She looked rather pretty in her gown actually, and it was kind of weird that Nick made her bend down to pick up a piece of paper in her tight, tight gown.
