Deepavali and a wedding
I know. I have MIA-ed for the longest time. I've been too lazy to blog.
Deepavali photos at Menaka's house will be posted up soon, so don't bug me too much for it. I'm still deciding if I should post up the unflattering photos. Unflattering meaning Jeraldine's fat photos. If you know what I mean.
It's Saturday and I just returned from a cousin's wedding. They had mass in the morning at the church of St Francis Xavier. First time I entered SFX and I left with a great feeling. Nice church they have there. Father Anthony was an excellent choice of celebrant too. Oh. Many people attended mass. Almost filled up the sanctuary. Even Fr Anthony commented on the number of people. I think its because everyone from Christ the King's RCIY and YC turned up.
Oh yeah. I know I've told some people that I don't have many Catholic relatives. It's true in the sense that the closer relatives aren't. I do have Catholic distant relatives though. It's like the kind who turns up during Chinese New Year and stuff and they probably don't even know my name. However, the coolness of it all is that my relationship with them kinda stepped up after I entered church.
Anyway I got some photos of the church as well as the dinner, though many aren't very well taken. Not that there were many photos anyway.
Isn't SFX beautiful?
Statue of St. Jude the Apostle. My patron saint.
Dinner at Orchid Country Club.
Erm. I know this photo looks like an abstract art of some sort. What you are suppose to see is the waiter flinging a long towel of fire round and round and round in the dark.
